Frequently asked questions

What are your areas of expertise?

I specialise in helping with fatigue, painful or irregular cycles, PMOS/PCOS, perimenopause, mood issues, PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, weight loss, chronic infections, and egg and sperm health optimisation. My approach combines traditional wisdom with  modern science to find and address the root causes of these issues.

What healthcare do you offer?

I provide evidence-based guidance to help people align with their body’s needs. My approach is backed by research and focuses on practical and holistic health plans that address functional imbalances. I also prioritise working alongside your current medical team so that you feel supported on your health journey.

How do you support fertility?

I help nourish the body for fertility by supporting hormone balance, addressing inflammation, balancing blood sugar, and optimising egg and sperm health with targeted care. I also support fertility for those with PMOS/PCOS or endometriosis, or who are undergoing IVF. My approach is thorough, ensuring no stone is left unturned.

What treatments do you prescribe?

Alongside diet and lifestyle changes, I recommend high-quality nutritional, herbal, and gut health supplements tailored to your unique needs. I firmly believe in prescribing supplements you can actually feel the difference with, addressing core deficiencies first, then layering on support for your most pressing symptoms. My targeted prescriptions ensure you get the maximum benefit that are comfortably within your budget, whatever that looks like.

What do we discuss in our consult?

In your session, I walk you through the patterns that stand out in your health, and explain and what you can do to effectively support balance and address the issues you are experiencing. You will receive a summary of our discussion with recommended supplements and diet and lifestyle strategies that provide targeted support.

What is the next step if I'm unsure?

I offer a free introductory call to explain how I can help over the phone. When you book an intro call, you will be emailed a short form to fill in. I review this form before I call you, and  I explain how I can help. To book this appointment, navigate to ‘Intro Call’ under ‘Naturopath First Appointment’ booking menu.

What health issues are not your area of expertise

As a naturopath, I am trained to support a wide range of health concerns by addressing the fundamental pillars of wellness. However, one area I do not specialise in is naturopathic oncology. If you are seeking care in this space, I am more than happy to provide recommendations to trusted practitioners who specialise in supportive oncology.

Do you offer online consultations.

Yes, I offer online consultations for interstate and international clients on Saturdays. I also offer telehealth sessions one Wednesday a month, which can be booked by calling or emailing our reception team over the phone or via email:

Do you offer bulk-billed pathology testing?

No, unfortunately bulk-billed pathology is only available through your GP. I do work closely with blood tests, though, as they are a fantastic tool.

You can bring in copies of your results from anywhere. You can grab them from your GP at your next visit, or jump online to My Health Record to download them. If you’ve had tests done recently but can’t access them, we can easily organise a pathology release form to get them.

Do you offer pathology testing that isn't bulk billed?

Yes, I have my own commercial pathology account. If we choose to run private testing through my account, it is generally around $35 per marker, plus a $20 clinic handling fee. While I never expect other practitioners to run my testing for me, I completely understand that bulk-billing is preferred to save on out-of-pocket expenses—especially when you are investing in supplements and regular sessions at Spring Acupuncture. To support this, I am always happy to write to your GP to suggest specific markers for them to review.

Can I claim my naturopathy consultation on private health insurance?

Yes. From July 1, 2026, the Australian Government has officially reinstated private health insurance rebates for Naturopathy. Contact your private health fund directly to confirm if naturopathy is included in your current extras cover or to upgrade your policy. Insurers covering naturopathy from April 2026 include:

  • CBHS Health Fund

  • ACA Health Benefits Fund

  • Health Partners (HP)

  • Mildura Health Fund (MDHF)

  • Peoplecare Health (PH)

  • St. Luke’s Health (StLH)
